Boiling Point put old school death metal weight into the direct punch of hardcore. The Gqeberha four-piece draws on groove metal, with heavy guitars and rhythmic aggression driving its sound. Their lyrics tackle mental health, conflict, racism and the damage felt within communities. Yet the band frames that anger with a stubborn sense of hope, particularly on Humanize. From their early Fields of Doom material to Deadweight, personal struggles and social frustration remain central to their musical identity.
