Sea Bastard

About

Sea Bastard

Sea Bastard play slow, abrasive doom and sludge metal built around massive bass tones, heavily distorted guitars, sustained feedback and harsh vocals. Their compositions favour extended structures, allowing crawling riffs and oppressive grooves to develop before breaking into more aggressive passages. The band's sound draws on the weight and repetition of doom while retaining the rawer, more confrontational character of sludge.
