Altarheart

Altarheart are a progressive metalcore band from Charleston, West Virginia. Anthony Conn began the project as a solo endeavour in early 2023, releasing singles and the full-length album Deny Thyself before drummer Alex Conn joined. The Conn brothers combine aggressive vocals, rhythmic heaviness, electronics, melodies and anthemic choruses across a varied sonic palette. Their Rottweiler Records album Prone To Wander continues the project’s development through songs that move between harsh and melodic vocal styles, muscular riffs, reflective passages and tightly structured metalcore.
