Dreamer drives extreme progressive metal through technical death metal pressure, heavy modern grooves, atmospheric passages and long, shifting arrangements. The songs can snap from relentless precision into haunting space, melody and cleaner breaks without dropping the weight. Current material uses both harsh and clean vocals over thick, percussive riffs, while guitarist and composer Christopher Beattie anchors the project. The progressive detail stays tied to a hard metallic core instead of drifting into pure virtuosity.

History
Dreamer formed in Los Angeles in 2020 around guitarist, composer and producer Christopher Beattie. After instrumental demos in 2020 and 2021, the lineup expanded with Josef Hossain-Kay, Zachary Rivizzigno, Ricky Alvarado-Cabrera and vocalist Kyle Chapman. Beattie joined The Zenith Passage in 2022 while Dreamer continued developing its debut full-length. Autogenesis is scheduled for release through Beyond the Top Records on December 11, 2026.
Autogenesis is Dreamer's nine track debut full-length, due December 11, 2026 through Beyond the Top Records. The album extends the band's extreme progressive metal frame across technical aggression, melody and atmosphere. First single "Regress" runs 9:31 and moves through fast technical passages, clean breaks, harsh and clean vocals and thick, percussive riffs.
