Fervence push progressive metalcore through atmospheric guitar layers, forceful rhythmic shifts and the contrasting vocals of Stevie B. Harsh screams give way to expansive clean melodies, with distorted riffs and electronic textures moving between aggression and restraint. The five-piece draw on the darker alternative metal of Deftones alongside the modern metalcore approaches of Architects and Silent Planet. Their songs place as much weight on mood and vocal phrasing as technical intensity, building toward large choruses without losing their abrasive edge.

History
Fervence are an American progressive metalcore band founded in Reno, Nevada, in 2019 by guitarist Trent Odneal as a solo project. The project released its debut album, Ghost, in March 2020 before developing into a full band. Vocalist Stevie B. joined the lineup in 2023, taking over the frontperson role as Austin Bentley moved toward guitar and songwriting. The expanded lineup toured the West Coast and shared stages with Otep, Left To Suffer and Gideon. Four singles released during this period formed the band's second major recording, the Realm // One EP, issued in November 2024. Fervence subsequently relocated their base to Austin, Texas, and spent 2025 developing material for their next full-length. They signed with Metal Blade Records for Constructs, released on 16 October 2026. The eleven-track album marked their label debut and was followed by a music video for Oculum and a United States tour with Enthronement.
Constructs is the second full-length album from American progressive metalcore band Fervence and their first release through Metal Blade Records. Released on 16 October 2026, its eleven tracks run for approximately 42 minutes and explore mortality, identity, relationships, memory and personal change. The record moves between atmospheric passages, distorted guitar arrangements, aggressive rhythmic sections and the contrasting clean and harsh vocals of Stevie B. Opening track Pathways introduces the record's reflective themes, while Oculum draws on the abrasive character of Deftones' self-titled album without abandoning Fervence's cinematic atmosphere. Zenith addresses the emotional strain of prolonged health struggles, and Ascension introduces a shorter, more chaotic passage. The closing title track returns to ideas first developed during the band's Ghost era, examining how experiences shape identity before eventually fading. Guitarists Trent Odneal and Austin Bentley produced the album, with mixing and mastering handled by Zack Ohren. The cover features three-dimensional artwork by Billelis. Constructs was released digitally, on CD and in several coloured vinyl editions, including Pearl Bone Marble and Shimmer Gold + Black Marble variants in the United States and Royalty Metallic Marbled vinyl in Europe. Music videos for Zenith, Ascension and Oculum accompanied the album campaign, with the Oculum video arriving on 20 October 2026.
